[Just a look of mild sympathy... And with some dry amusement:]
Perhaps you should write a note of complaint to the bear.

That bear's already received enough complaints to last a lifetime. I'm not sure there's much he can do about what goes on in this place, either.

[He'd been makin a lil joke but honestly the mention of the bear probably not holding as much power as they'd hoped makes him feel Not Thrilled again.]
No, it seems he's quite bound by "tradition" if we're meant to take him at his... word.

His words are a mess. They're better than what I expected from a bear, but they're nothing like the welcome message we received before.

It makes one wonder who wrote it for him, or how many drafts he had to go through before he had something presentable...

I don't know if any amount of drafts could've fixed that . . .

Not even with his staff at hand? Most of them type perfectly fine.

His staff, sure.
He's another story. He hits too many letters at once.

I wonder why they haven't gotten him a bear-sized... thing.
[Bear-sized anything, really, but Thing He Uses To Type, specifically.]

They should. It was already troublesome, trying to read his answers with everyone talking at once. I couldn't understand some of the things he wrote.

I'm glad it wasn't just me. Though I believe several people walked away due to the frustration of being unable to read them...

. . . They were already frustrated. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
The bear's misspellings wouldn't be a problem if things weren't so dire here.
