[Throughout the day, Sieghart flags down anyone whose path he crosses to inform them of a dinner party. For those in their rooms, he raps on the door and delivers the same invitation before going on his merry way to take his nap in the parlor.

Come evening, the dining room boasts a wide spread of food prepared by Souji—chicken wings, grilled onigiri, grilled fish, tempura veggies, gyoza, and tomato egg stirfry—along with desert in the form of a chocolate cake by Alphinaud. Bottles of wine have been relocated for easy drinking. Virgo is here, probably. There's an additional placemat set out for Flayn.]

[Sieghart glances around for a cursory headcount. He doesn't expect everyone to show on time, but they've all got to eat sometime. Plus, the portraits' placement means anyone who's invested in monitoring the other side is going to be in the vicinity.]

Then what are we waiting for? Dig in.

[ for funsies - hua cheng will eat, picking something every now and then, passing a snack under the table for tanhua to snap up, but when he's not participating in party games he's mostly observing. he seems to have grabbed his pen and stationary pad from his things and is just drawing what antics he observes. his art is very nice so if you want to snoop on that then you're welcome to. ]

Starting with violence never pays off. That's why you always try to saying hi to the clowns first.

I don't know, I've found stabbing clowns to be cathartic, personally.

Mm, I guess it depends on the clowns? If they're rude to you first even though you were polite, that's different.

Usually they're rude first. I simply respond accordingly.

You would think so, wouldn't you? All they had to do was put books away. Much too easy to solve if you want to hide your things.

I've had quite a few centuries to master the craft. [ stares in tgcf ] But it's been some time since I've drawn some of these people. Not so bad to recapture them.

There was about ten years straight where I painted and carved sculptures when not fighting for my life, so I suppose it simply became a habit. [ contemplative ]

A little over 800 years worth will often provide for interesting stories, but I've heard a variety of interesting tales from people that haven't even reached their twenties yet.
