A girl I know from my dimension.

She has an exhausting habit of pulling people into her nonsensical dreams. I'd say they share similarities with this place, but I've never known them to be harmful.

Huh. [thinking...] How do you get out of her dreams, usually?

The trick is not to trigger the story in the first place. Don't jump down the rabbit hole if you know what's inside. Once you do, the only recourse is to go through the story by completing the tasks ahead of you.

...you know. We all agree we didn't ask to come here and we didn't apply to this school, but do you think that we accidentally fell down the rabbit hole in the first place?

Rather than accidentally, we might have been shoved into it.

Rin's never inside her own dreams, is she? She controls them from the outside?

It's her dream. Of course she's inside. She just assigns herself the most convenient role and makes everyone else do all the work.

Sounds like a huge pain. [who just allows that???]. I was just wondering. I thought maybe there would be parallels that give us an idea of what's going on. Yamato and I are noticing some patterns from things we've experienced before. I'm trying to see if other people have, too.

I've noticed similarities. What patterns have the two of you observed?

We've fought a couple of Digimon that had a whole set-up with cables that ran underground and a network that showed everything so we were always watched, or they could physically control us because of these dolls, or they set the whole thing as a performance.

None of it was any good.

Ugh . . . just hearing about all that is tiring me out.

How did you get out?

[...UH....]

Well. We defeated them. So after they were gone, everything kind of went back to normal. [sometimes you murder your enemies to make things right, and that's okay.]

At the time after we finished defeating the last of them, the Digital World went back to the way it was and peace was restored. Not exactly something we can easily do here yet.

[Murdering one's enemies is right up his alley.]

How did you manage to overcome the physical control?

[unfortunately, this isn't a promising answer.]

Chance mostly. And then we beat the guys doing the controlling. There were eight of us and all of our partners so we just had to work together.

[he's leaving out a huge chunk of the story, but hey, it works.]

There are more of us this time around. Our chances are looking pretty good, don't you think?

I'd hope so. They'd be even better if we could guarantee the numbers stay the same. That's why I'm trying to tell people everything we're learning as we're learning it.

Mm. It doesn't help to be secretive here. You never know what will happen to you.

That's the reality of the situation. If you're lucky, you'll get out of whatever happens with just a bad leg.

If only we could all be so fortunate. [though...] Try to take it easy anyway.

You should take it easy when you can, too; otherwise, all that running around is going to wear you out.
