Just once. Chad said it might be one of the geese, but I'm doubtful.
Maybe it's optimistic. Either way, we should focus on not letting anything in rather than getting out. What do you think?

He doesn't laugh, mostly because a series of muffled noises interrupt any reaction he might have had to the frying pan.
The yell cuts him off. His head snaps up toward the ceiling at the slam. Something hits the floor and he dashes in the direction of the stairs.
