Let me put it this way. I think that's probably the most unintentionally romantic thing someone's done to me.

Well, no. He would've lunged at anyone in the same predicament, but he definitely wouldn't have said the things he did, and he perhaps might've done it a little differently. Therefore, it is not the same.
