[Sieghart sits in the common room—it's so nice to use a couch now that he's got two functioning legs—with a box on his lap and his sword propped beside him against an armrest. He turns an unfinished tarot card around in his hand with a look of faint astonishment.
. . . didn't think there would be this much . . . ]
[rita walks in, limping slightly. she's immediately greeted by a fluffy silver cat who leaps from a hiding space and rubs against her legs. she sees sieghart there... and just kind of stares at the weirdly familiar sight for a few seconds.
then makes her way over and sits in a nearby chair. the cat promptly climbs up on the armrest and perches.]
I didn't leave anything in there, if you're wondering. Not into that superstitious crap.
I had one of those communication coupons, and everybody that week wouldn't shut up about the dead, and daycare, and how like half the people here have been back from the dead before!?
[Blasted thoughts, blasting in every direction at everyone.]
Like he said, it was a daycare with monitors. Everything there was meant to accommodate children, which meant we only had snacks for a few weeks. We couldn't go outside at first, either.
For the record, we should be getting one more hint through the Honor Society before fully disbanding, so that might help point us in the right direction.
